These pics are a bunch of different things our kids have been doing. From helping out in the yard, biking, playing at the beach, they are always having such a good time!!
Trev has been tackling some big projects as well. The last week of april, he and our good friend Carlos fixed and re-did the kitchen roof of Pine Lodge and then the next week he was in Winnipeg at Red River College taking a water treatment course, and since he's been back, he's been so crazy busy with all the big and little projects, not to mention the unexpected projects that are always bound to pop up. He has a really good assistant, and the crew of guys on spring staff maintenance that are here have helped out significantly and allowed him to get stuff done more quickly without sweating the small stuff. And even though a fair amount of the work his s.s. crew does is mowing, or cleaning, these guys have a great attitude and do it without complaint!
Here Trev is pull starting the food delivery truck! (one of the 'unexpecteds', lol)
This one is Trev fixing a squeaky dashboard and a few other issues on the camp car. . .
This one he's felling a tree, two guys are there to pull on it incase it leans too much one way. But this tree needed to come down. If it fell on it's own, there's a house one way, power lines another and other buildings all around. So it was necessary to come down. Once down he could see that ants were already doing some serious damage that weakens the trunk. So it was a very good thing!!!
Chloe's new bike arrived in April and we thought there might be a learning curve going from pedal brakes to handle brakes, but she transitioned as if there was no other way of braking!! She flies on that bike, it is such a workout to keep up with her!!
